Welcome to Cloneable, and how to use this help center

What Cloneable is, how the app and the web portal fit together, and how to read this guide.

Written by Ryan Miller

Cloneable helps utility crews capture field data and get it back to the office in a form everyone can use. This guide walks through Cloneable start to finish, in the order most organizations set it up and use it.

Two places you'll work

Cloneable has two sides. UtilityScout is the app your crews carry into the field, on their phone. The Cloneable web portal is the browser side, where configurations get built, field data gets reviewed, and data goes back out. Most people only need one side regularly; this guide covers both, in the order a new organization typically sets them up.

How to read this guide

Every article ends with a Next button. Following it in order walks you through the whole process once, from setting up a configuration to getting your data out. You do not have to read every article; use the button at the foot of any article to move forward, or search for the specific task you need.

If you already know Cloneable and just need to look something up, search is usually faster than reading forward.

If you get stuck

The help control in the bottom-right corner of the web portal searches this help center and lets you send a bug report, a feature request, or start a chat. See Get help from Cloneable for exactly what that looks like and what to send.
