Use this module when a pole is already on the map and you need to put it in the right place. Placing a new pole is a different step. See Place a pole or span on the map.
Move the pole
Select the pole on the map.
Choose Move Pole.
Reposition the pole where it should be.
Tap Confirm Location to commit the new spot.
To abort without saving the move, cancel with the X.
Confirm Location vs Update Measurements
These are not two different commits.
Confirm Location is the only button that writes the new map position.
Update Measurements is a toggle. It is on by default. While it is on, Confirm Location also carries this object's measurements to the new position. Turn it off if you only want the pin to move.
If you are not sure, leave Update Measurements on and use Confirm Location.
After you move it
Moving a pole fixes where it sits on the map. It does not replace measuring the pole. If your job still requires measurement, measure after the location is right. See Measure a pole.
Before you leave coverage, check that the status says Synced. See Check that your work is syncing.
