Use this when a midspan marker looks floated or wrong, disappeared after sync, will not export, or its map location looks incorrect in UtilityScout or the Cloneable web portal. Check layers and the span association first, since there is no customer tool to move a midspan and fix drifted geometry directly; if it placed correctly but stays wrong or vanishes after sync with sync already clear, treat it as a product issue and escalate.
Note: Only use Force Export All when process or support asks for a full push. It may create duplicates.

High Accuracy Midspan Measurement
Check placement and layers
On UtilityScout, confirm the midspan still exists for that pole or span.
Check Map Layers on the device (and toolbar Layers on the web portal) before calling data loss. Map Options is basemap / offline only.
If it never placed: re-enter the midspan stage, stabilize AR from about 5-10 feet away, then Place Marker → Continue. If Place Marker is grayed, move closer. Avoid Reset unless you intend to clear the work (it shows its own "cannot be undone" confirmation).
On the Cloneable web portal Utility Map, select the job, find the midspan, and copy the object URL (select the object, then copy the browser URL).
If the web object shows banner Orphaned Mid-Span, click Select on Map and re-link it to the parent span before treating it as location drift.
If it placed but vanished or stays wrong after sync with sync already clear, stop retry loops and escalate (below).
If something goes wrong
Include the Utility Map job link, the midspan object link, screenshots from UtilityScout and the portal, and whether Orphaned Mid-Span appeared. See What to send.
Important: Wrong place or vanished after sync with sync clear → Create a ticket. Do not keep retrying placement as a substitute for a product fix.
Next: check the midspan and the rest of the job on the map. See Review what your crews captured.
