Use this when the pole inspection view cannot line up a measurement, shows standard placement, or needs a new calibration. Do not treat a missing measurement line as proof the photo is gone forever.

Open inspection from the map
Open Utility Map, select the job, then select the pole.
Stay on the Data tab.
Choose Measure Utility Pole.
That opens pole inspection. Do not use the Photos tab on the map panel to find the measurement picture. That tab can say there are no photos even when Data and inspection both show captures.
After a fielder syncs a new capture, reopen inspection from the map. A hand-edited address on this screen can load forever with no error.
Check upload before you change the measurement
In inspection, open the Files section. Cloneable lists each photo and calibration file and whether it arrived.
A healthy pole shows Photo and Calibration data as present.
Not uploaded by fielder means a file ID exists but the crew never finished sending the file.
Photo not uploaded by fielder or Photo upload incomplete on the canvas is the same class of problem for the picture itself.
Ask the fielder to re-sync first when upload looks incomplete. Have them open UtilityScout, stay on the job, and wait until the status says synced. Then reload inspection before you start a new measurement path.
If files are still missing after a real sync, send the object reference to Cloneable rather than guessing.
Pick the right inspection mode
The web does not use a button labeled Re-measure. Each mode has its own exit control. Finish the mode you opened before you leave the page.
Re-calibrate places the scale targets again. It runs in four steps: Targets, Tilt, Top/Bottom, then Save. The first step asks you to put the crosshairs on the scale-target centers, with the bottom marker on the bottom target. Use Auto-detect if you want Cloneable to try first. Then Calibrate, or Cancel.
Update Pole Top and Bottom moves the yellow handles at the pole top and the ground line. That button becomes Cancel and Save. Re-calibrate and Measure Circumference stay disabled until you leave this mode.
Measure Circumference puts a horizontal measure near the ground line. The overlay shows circumference, diameter, height above the ground line, and estimated class. The button becomes Done Measuring. That is the exit, not Save.
The page also has Save Changes at the top. That control can stay disabled while a mode is open. Use the mode's own Calibrate, Save, or Done Measuring first.
If the photo banner says Cloneable could not line up the detected pole, inspection is using standard placement. Attachments then snap flat to the measure line. Reprocess pole runs detection again. If detection still finds nothing usable, send a fresh field capture rather than guessing on the web.
If Re-calibrate stays disabled, read the tip Cloneable shows. AR captures often cannot be re-solved on the web. Photos without high-accuracy metadata cannot either. Those need a fresh field capture.
If there is no tip at all, the cause is a different one. Re-calibrate is also disabled while you are in another mode on that screen, and those modes are mutually exclusive. Come out of the one you are in and the button returns. The presence of a tip is how you tell the two apart: a tip means the photo cannot be re-solved and the pole needs re-measuring in the field; no tip means you are simply in another mode. When the fielder should remeasure in UtilityScout
Send the work back to the field when the web tools cannot recover the photo: missing high-accuracy metadata, a photo that never uploaded after sync, or a capture too poor to trust. If export is the thing that will not finish
Incomplete uploads break exports as well as inspection. If the job will not finish exporting, fix sync and missing files first. See When an export does not finish.
