Use this module when UtilityScout blocks the screen or shows a slim banner asking you to sign in again. Your session expired. Your work is still on the phone.
What the full-screen lock says
When the app cannot let you keep working without a fresh sign-in, you see a hard lock:
You've been signed out
Your session expired. Sign in again to keep working.
Your data is safe and saved on this device.
The primary button is Re-authenticate. The secondary button is Log out.
While the app is signing you back in, it shows Signing you back in…
If you are mid-workflow
Sometimes you are already in a step and the app cannot put the full lock over it yet. You get a slim banner instead:
Signed out — finish and tap Done, then sign in.
That banner offers Sign in and Log out.
Finish what you are doing first. Tap Done when the step allows it, then use Sign in (or Re-authenticate if you are on the full lock).
What to do
If you see the slim banner, finish the current step and tap Done.
Tap Re-authenticate or Sign in.
Wait through Signing you back in… until you are back in the job.
Before you leave coverage, wait until the status says Synced.
Deleting or reinstalling the UtilityScout app will not resolve this issue. The lock is a sign-in gate. It does not wipe your work or your cache.
Prefer Re-authenticate or Sign in over Log out while you still have unsent work. Logging out is a separate choice; use it only when you mean to leave the account.
What this lock does not do
The lock does not erase poles, photos, measurements, or other captures on the device. It only stops you from continuing until you sign in again.
