Your account and profile

Every user has a profile, and it is where you keep your own details current.

Every user has a profile, and it is where you keep your own details current. Open Settings and go to your profile to set your first and last name, your email, and your phone number. On the Profile settings page you are editing your own record, so this is the place to make sure your own name and contact details are right.

You do not need a password to sign in. As covered in Start here, you sign in with a one-time code sent to your work email, or with your company single sign-on if your organization has set one up. If a password is ever set up for your account, it is managed through an emailed link, not on your profile.

So in day-to-day terms your account is simple: keep your name and contact details accurate on your profile so teammates and admins can reach the right person.


Resetting your password

Most people never set a password, because you sign in with a one-time code sent to your work email. If a password was set for your account and you need to reset it, use the reset link on the sign-in screen; you will get an email with a link to choose a new password. There is no password field on your profile page.
